The LeGaL Foundation, Columbia Outlaws, and the Columbia Program in Gender and Sexuality Law are pleased to announce their upcoming law conference, "LGBTQ Law 2008: Where Do We Go from Here?," taking place at Columbia Law School on Saturday, November 15, 2008. The conference will run from 9am- 5pm and a reception will follow. The conference will serve as a forum for reflecting on the November elections, commemorating recent LGBTQ legal victories, and strategizing about the way forward for the LGBTQ civil rights movement. Seven panel discussions will be taking place on diverse topics such as same-sex access to family courts, transgender legal advocacy, reforms to HIV/AIDS & Immigration Law and LGBTQ youth homelessness.
