Dr. M.L. "Hank" Henry Jr. Fund for Judicial Internships
A $4,000 stipend will be awarded to a qualified law student to support a 10-week summer judicial internship in New York City under the auspices of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Law Association Foundation of Greater New York ("LeGaL Foundation"). The program will be designed to give the intern exposure to a variety of courts or tribunals. The Fund for Judicial Internships was established in memory of Dr. Henry, whose ground breaking work encouraged openly lesbian and gay lawyers to seek and achieve judicial office in New York City. The internship is intended for students with a demonstrated interest in, and commitment to, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights. The Dr. M.L. "Hank" Henry, Jr., Fund for Judicial Internships values diversity. All interested students are encouraged to apply.
